被动句(1)   Passive Sentences (1)
汉语中用带"被"字的句子表达被动意义,突出主语受到了某个动作的影响,语气常带有被动、无奈、负面等色彩。副词和能愿动词放在"被"字前面。基本结构:主语+被+宾语+动词+其他成分。
Sentences with "被" express the passive voice. They emphasize that the subject is affected by an action, often conveying passivity, helplessness, or negativity. Structure: Subject + 被 + Object + Verb + Other Elements.

This book has been checked out by someone else.
(2)水果可能被弟弟吃了
The fruit may have been eaten by my younger brother.

承接复句"先……,再/然后……"中,两个分句表示动作的先后顺序。
"先……,再/然后……": two clauses indicate the chronological order of actions.

固定格式"×什么(啊)"通常用于否定对方的担忧、疑问或强调事实,带有反驳或安慰的语气。
"×什么(啊)" is often used to dismiss someone's concerns or doubts, or to emphasize a fact. It carries a tone of refutation or reassurance.

A: Thinking about performing makes me nervous. B: What's there to be nervous about?

    昨天是我们学校的新年晚会,每个班级的同学都表演节目了。晚会是八点开始的,差不多十二点才结束。我一个晚上跟大家一起又唱又跳,开心极了,也累坏了。我最喜欢的节目是留学生们跳舞,最后老师和校长也被叫起来一块儿跳,特别有意思。过几天学校的网站上会有晚会的视频,我打算再看一遍。

Yesterday was our school's New Year evening party, and students from every class performed. It started at 8 and didn't end until around midnight. I spent the whole evening singing and dancing with everyone — it was so much fun, and I was exhausted. My favourite act was the international students dancing. In the end the teachers and principal were called up to dance together too — it was especially fun. In a few days the school website will have the party video and I plan to watch it again.
